Nikki Taylor: Celebrating Women's Health Month
May is Women's Health Month—a time to reflect on and recommit to the well-being of women everywhere. Nikki Taylor’s dedication to the San Juan Medical Foundation embodies the spirit of this month.
As a board member, volunteer, and Cathy Lincoln Memorial Cancer Fund committee member, Nikki has seen firsthand the difference the Women's Cancer Luncheon & Style Show makes for women facing cancer. This annual event is dedicated to celebrating and supporting them.
"The Luncheon lifts the models up and recognizes what they have been through, pampers them for the day, and lets them share their story," Nikki says. "Cancer touches everyone's lives, and to have an organization out there that cares about you and your story — and supports women who may be struggling financially — is such a wonderful gift."

Beyond the celebration, Nikki values the Luncheon's role as a platform for awareness.
"One of the best parts is that models get to share warning signs and recommendations to other women about listening to your body, doing your annual checks and exams, and caring for yourself," she notes.
That message matters — not just in May, but all year long.
Nikki's commitment extends beyond any single event. She joined the San Juan Medical Foundation because she believes in the scope of its mission, from the Cathy Lincoln Memorial Cancer Fund, to the Riley Men's Health Fund, to the Connelly Hospitality House.
"I know that it is a group of people who want to make a difference and help others," she says. "The San Juan Medical Foundation has proven for years that it values those that need help the most, regardless of income or obstacles."
That belief — that no one should face illness alone, and that help should be available to everyone — is at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you, Nikki, for your passion, your voice, and your continued commitment to this community. You embody the spirit of Women's Health Month every single day.
